I used this army for my siege battles on campaign map. One may argue that this isn't true but i find archers and cavalry useless in siege battles (unless you are defending. Then archers and cavalry are your safety). Heavy infantry is the king of sieges.
One bad thing is that Janissary Heavy Infantry doesn't have any shield so it's quite valnurable to enemy's missiles.
