 The Mongols, A.D. 1080 Summer
蒙古帝國, 公元 1080 夏
斡難河大會群雄後，鐵木真被推為大汗，號成吉思汗，自此奠定波瀾壯闊的蒙古帝國。在遠東地區，蒙古大軍平遼滅金，征服南宋，兵鋒所向無不披靡。與此同時，成吉思汗雄鷹般目光炯炯注視著西方，親自領軍攻陷花剌子模新都撒馬爾罕，其後更南征呼羅珊，北討俄羅斯，迦勒迦河一役大敗突厥俄羅斯聯軍，俄羅斯諸王公幾乎全數命喪於此。十數年後，王子拔都率領七萬大軍西征，目標直指歐洲腹地匈牙利。在匈奴入侵歐洲八百年以後，東、西方兩個世界再次碰撞。拔都首先直取俄羅斯，先克梁贊、莫斯科等十四城，後陷弗拉基米爾與基輔。公元1240年，蒙古揮軍直進波蘭匈牙利，隨即攻陷克拉科夫、裡格尼察等城，大掠摩爾拉維亞地區。其後，拔都親統三路大軍於莫希平原大敗匈牙利，其國王僅以身存，蒙古鐵騎轉掠亞得裡亞海東岸及南歐各地。由於窩闊台大汗辭世，拔都率軍從巴爾幹回撤至伏爾加河流域，本部以撒萊為都城，在伏爾加河畔建立欽察汗國。公元1253年，拖雷之子旭烈兀率軍三次遠征，進軍西亞直指木剌夷，並告諭西亞諸王協同作戰。征服木剌夷後，旋即揮軍黑衣大食，大敗阿拔斯哈里發，攻陷巴格達，而後更繼續西進，兵發敘利亞直抵大馬士革，勢力深入西南亞，並建立伊利汗國。近半個世紀中，蒙古帝國以蒙古大汗為中心，三次西征，先後征服鹹海以西裡海以北的欽察、花剌子模和東起阿爾泰山西至阿姆河的西遼及畏兀兒，建立察合台汗國；佔據鄂畢河上游以西至巴爾喀什湖的乃蠻舊地，建立窩闊台汗國；擊潰伏爾加河流域梁贊、弗拉基米爾、莫斯科和基輔諸公國，建立欽察汗國；擊潰兩河流域伊朗、阿富汗和敘利亞，建立伊利汗國，構築成歷史上前所未有的輝煌帝國。現在，蒙古鐵騎厲兵秣馬，戰意高昂，沿續先祖輝煌，將帝國更加奮發皇揚，是成吉思汗子孫們責無旁貸之重任。
